"You Should Put That On Your Blog, Mom"

I've loved many things about blogging, but I have to say having my boys tune into the blogging world has been one of my favorites!  They'll often see a recipe, a craft, or make something themselves and say, "mom, you should put that on your blog!"  It makes me smile every time they say it.

Well, here's something my twins were quite proud of, and thought it was blog-worthy.  It completely is!!

My husband used to work at his dad's art gallery and there was always extra pieces of cardboard, poster board, bubble wrap, boxes, tubes, everything a little boy could possibly want!  We have many creations and pieces of art from going to work with daddy.  This is one of them.  I don't know if you can see, but I love the 'Do Not Bend' stamp they used on the  ship.

And here's my three-year-old's piece of art.  He has to do everything his big brothers do.  These squiggly lines are his trademark.  He took pictures of his Lego guys one day for my blog, but I can't find the pictures anywhere.  I'm determined to hunt them down and share them!  He was so proud!

All of this makes me think of a quote I read from Fred Rogers (Mr. Rogers).  It came from this book.

As a mom, I want my boys to KNOW that their story is important to me.  In the hustle and bustle of my days, its easy to push aside the little pages of their stories, but I need to remember to take the time to notice them, validate them, and celebrate them!
So boys, I did put "that" on my blog today just for you!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you found a little something worth your time.
