Summer is definitely s'more season at our house! And as much as I love an evening fire with a perfectly toasted marshmallow, chocolate, and graham crackers, it can sometimes be a bit more work and smell (campfire smell linkers in my hair forever!) than I'm willing to tackle.
The perfect solution? Indoor s'mores! My best friend from ages ago gave me this recipe when we were in college, and I'd kind of forgotten about it. But, the other day while I was grocery shopping I ran across a great sale on Golden Grahams. My boys don't like Golden Grahams with milk, so I knew if I was going to buy them, I'd need to use them for something other than breakfast cereal. Then, I remembered this indoor s'more recipe, and (blame it on pregnancy) I couldn't get them out of my mind. I had to buy them and make them that same day.

The flavor with theses indoor s'mores is similar to a regular s'more, but different enough that they give a new spin to the amazingly delicious mix of chocolate, graham, and marshmallow.
When I made these I shared them with my sister-in-law and her family when they came to dinner. We sat visiting with the pan of them in front of us, and we had to move away from it because we both just kept eating and eating and eating! Too addicting to stop!
And by the way, if my chocolate looks dark in my photos it's because it is. I only had semi sweet chocolate chips on hand, so I used them, and I actually liked them more than the milk chocolate ones, but I'm a bit more of a dark chocolate girl these days, so use what you like.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you found a little something worth your time.
