Apples {Printable}

 I really do love summer, and we had a great one, but as soon as the tiniest signs of fall start emerging, an excitement stirs in me that I can't say I get at any other time of the year.  The cooler weather, the darker evenings, the crisp in the air, the food, the colorful leaves, the apples, the pumpkins, everything about fall makes me happy!

There's so much to enjoy during these fall months, that I feel like I have to devote certain items to certain months.  October is all about Halloween (and birthdays) for us, so I usually do lots with apples and leaves in September.  Then in  November we do lots of pumpkin things (minus jack-o-lanterns, we do those with Halloween).

I love September because of the bounteous harvest around.  Have you noticed the apples appearing everywhere these days?  They've been so green and camouflaged in the leaves up until now, but the reds and yellows are popping up all over- you can't miss them.

So, in honor of all things apples, I have an apple printable for you today.  I haven't used the darling chalkboard backgrounds from Lilac & Lavender since Easter.   I thought the simple, elegant design of the chalkboard background would make the perfect apple sign.  This sign would work with any fall home decor, or would be perfect at your next apple buffet.  Is it just me, or would you love to host an all apple buffet?  Apple crisps, pies, dried apples, caramel apples, whole apples, applesauces, apple butter, and on and on.  That's definitely on my fall bucket list.  If you need any apple recipes, you can check out my September Pinterest Board.  I have pinned a plethora of apple recipes and ideas.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you found a little something worth your time.

    1. I'm no pro at these things, but I think if you save or copy the apples printable to your desktop, then you can double click on it and it will open in Preview. Then go to File, and under File you should see Export. If you click on Export, you should be given different options to save the image as. PNG should be an option. Let me know if that helps. If not, I can email you a PNG version. Thanks so much for visiting!
