February Pinterest Board

Happy Groundhog Day everyone!  Well, I guess Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow today, so we have six more weeks of winter to look forward to.  Here in Utah we've been having close to spring-like weather pretty much all of January, so maybe with Phil's prediction, then next six weeks will be a bit more wintry!

January Pinterest Board

The first Monday of a new year.  I love a clean, fresh start!  Sometimes my drive and ambition fizzles off before I'd like it to, but for now I'm motivated and I'm going to go with it.  I'm motivated to improve on many areas of my life, and blogging is definitely one of them.  The little break I've taken these past few months have been very clarifying for me.  I've realized I do love blogging, I don't want to give it up entirely, but I've also realized that I can step back from a few things and all will be well.  And by taking a step back in certain areas, I hope to be able to channel some energy in new directions with my blog.  Nothing major, just a few things I've been wanting to do for quite some time and haven't.

December Pinterest Board

Well, my blog posts have been a lot fewer and farther between than I expected, but this new little guy of ours is consuming my every free minute, and I'm loving it!  He will be two months on Christmas Day, and he's already growing up too quickly!  I've appreciated the slower-paced life he's helped me remember.

I know we're on the downhill side of the Christmas countdown, but if you're like me, you're still in need of some great holiday ideas.  And, having a newborn has put a few of my usual Christmas traditions on the back burner. Well, thank goodness for Pinterest!  I feel like I'm in full Christmas mode as I'm scrolling through all the wonderful images on my December board, even if my usual decor, treats, and projects haven't come to life this year.

November Pinterest Board

Mother Nature is right on schedule here in Utah.  We had a perfectly mild fall evening for trick-or-treating, and the instant November settled in, we got cold, blustery, and even saw some snow on the ground passing through Park City yesterday.  I'm sure not everyone can say this, but I'm ready for it!

Life with our newborn has been as close to perfection as possible, but it's definitely busy!  As I said in my post last week, you maybe seeing a lot of reposts, and longer time between posts for awhile.  But this little guy is deserving all of my time and energy right now.

So for, today my November Pinterest board.  I can't wait to get going on a few new pumpkin recipes that I have pinned, and Thanksgiving projects.  I love this time of year!!

October Pinterest Board

Whenever I have a spare minute (which doesn't seem to happen too often) I love to scroll through Pinterest.  And it becomes a bit of an obsession during October!  I have more pins than I'll ever have time for, but I love just looking at them for bits of inspiration, even if I don't complete the entire project.

As I've mentioned, all three of my boys have birthdays in October, and we'll be adding one more birthday to the bunch in a couple of weeks.  So, I'm always one the hunt for fun party activities, decorations, and food to go along with the Halloween theme.  Pinterest has been a lifesaver!  And I'm sure it will continue to be. We have many years of Halloween parties ahead. But, you won't hear any complaints from me!  I love every minute of planning and preparing for all these October parties.

We are at my parents all week long helping them move into their new home.  I've tried to get a few posts ready to go for the week, but my parents won't have their internet set up yet, so I may be missing in action for a few days.  You can always follow me on Instagram.  I try to post there daily, and I can do that anywhere.

It's A Boy! {& Baby Boy Pinterest Board}

It's been killing me to not say anything here, or do a few baby posts, but I was wanting to wait until we knew what we were having to reveal our big news.  It's a boy!  

That will make boy number four for us, and boy number for born in October.  A slight pattern, would you say?  I do have to say it's kind of cool, a bit unusual, but fun! Four boys, four birthdays, and they'll probably all be within a week of each other.  My four-year-old was born the day after my twins' birthday, and I'm due 9 days after that.  My twins came early, and my four-year-old was a week early, so we could be looking at all four birthdays just about in a row.  Crazy!!  But we couldn't be more excited!

Summer vacation will be here before we know it!  I start getting really excited for it this time of year, but often times a month into the summer I feel like I'm out of ideas to keep my boys entertained and out of trouble.

April Pinterest Board

Happy Monday everyone!  How was your weekend?  We had a lot of birthday celebrating around here, which is always fun.  I just wish I could learn to like the Thia restaurant my husband picks EVERY year for his birthday dinner.  But it was his day, his choice, he loved it (as always), so I'm not complaining.

A new month begins tomorrow.  I absolutely LOVE April!  Isn't it such a beautiful month?  Early spring flowers are some of my very favorites.  Tulips, daffodils, hyacinth, and then there's the blossoms on the trees.  One of nature's finest masterpieces!

March Pinterest Board

March has definitely come in like a lion here in Midway.  One of my twins was up from 4:00 on Saturday morning with a bad stomach ache, and all we heard in those early morning hours was the howling of some really strong winds.  Here's to hoping the month will leave really leave like a lamb.

It's my first post of the month, so that usually means sharing a new Pinterest board with you.  Today I have my March board to share with you.  Lots of fun green and minty foods, and St. Patrick's Day activities. 

I really like when St. Patrick's Day and Easter get to have their own month.  Trying to squeeze two holidays into one month is a bit too much for me.  Luckily this year, Easter isn't until April 20th, so we can give proper time and attention to each holiday.  Plus, when Easter is in April here in Midway, we're less likely to have snow for our Easter egg hunts.

February Pinterest Board {& Happy Valentine's Day!}

I totally should have posted my February Pinterest board at the beginning of the month, and really I'm not quite sure how I missed it.  I did post my Valentine playlist on February 1st.  Apparently my love for music got me all out of whack.  Better late than never, right?

I know it's too late to use most of these ideas today, but hold on to them for next year.  In my dream world, I will have most of my next year holiday stuff done the year before.    I've been in the valentine mode, so I should just keep going with it and have everything all ready to go for next year.  Plus, all things valentines will be on sale over the next few days, so go stock up for next year!

I hope you all have a wonderful day!  I have a class valentine party to help with, lunch at Cafe Galleria (if you're ever in Midway, Utah it's a must!) with my love, and then off to grandpa and grandma's for the long weekend.  Never a lack of love there.
